Hip Hop Thursdays: Block Party
This performance is from the Hip-Hop Thursdays: Block Party event that the NPHC organizations performed in on October 25, 2012. The organizations that were involved with this event were the Office of Institutional Diversity, the Multicultrual Center, CofC Late Night, Cougars Activities Board (CAB), the Office of Student Life, and NPHC. The NPHC organizations at the College of Charleston performed in a cash prize stroll off competition, in which the Chi Iota Zetas won 1st place. The performers were Natalie Simmons, Tanisha Ingram, Arvaughnna Postema, Charnel Kennedy, Devaney Frazier, and Joye Nettles.
The Battle of the Partywalks
This event was hosted by the Iota Omicron Chapter of the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. on March 16, 2013. The event had different NPHC sororities and fraternities paired up with either a NPC sorority or a IFC fraternity. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was paired with Beta Theta Pi and Team Zeta/Beta won 1st place. The Chi Iota performers were: Taylor Chapman, Joye Nettles, Breonna Jordan, Megan Rowells,Tyisha Springs, Alicia Houser and Natalie Simmons.
